Acquisition of Scandinavian Compound & Colours AB
As of October 1st 2010 Bjørn Thorsen A/S has acquired the activities of the Swedish company Scandinavian Compound & Colours AB (SCC).
Bjørn Thorsen A/S, with offices in Copenhagen and Gothenburg, has for more than 50 years supplied raw materials and additives to the plastics and coatings industries.
Bjørn Thorsen is a privately owned company with approximately 20 employees servicing the Nordic countries and the Baltics.

The acquisition of the activities of SCC is part of Bjørn Thorsen's strategy for a strong position in the Nordic countries and the Baltics.
SCC's director, Peter Doversten, continues at Bjørn Thorsen A/S. Business from the office in Marstrand and the warehouse in Gothenburg remains unchanged until further notice.
