From Thermedics/Lubrizol we supply a wide range of thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU`s): Tecoflex, Tecothane, Carbothane, Tecoplast and Tecophilic. The products are designated as medical grade biomaterials having passed either USP Class VI, MEM Elution or other relevant tests in order to establish their biocompatibility and biostability.
From ExxonMobil we supply a wide range of SantopreneTM TPV medical grades. These grades meet the USP (U.S. Pharmacopeia) class VI requirements for plastics and a Drug Master File (DMF) is maintained with US FDA. The Santoprene thermoplastic rubber grades can be sterilised effectively using steam autoclaving, gamma radiation and ethylene oxide with no loss of performance.
