Bjørn Thorsen A/S has for many years been committed to supplying the detergent industry with various raw materials.
From Cabot and Bentec we supply rheology modifiers of the Cab-O-Sil® series and Viscogel®/Laviothix® series.
The Cab-O-Sil series are fumed silica, free-flowing powdered products available in untreated and treated grades to improve flow properties, rheology control and sag control.
Viscogel/Laviothix are bentonite/organoclay used extensively as gelling agent /thixotropic thickeners in a wide variety of solvent and water based systems.
From MAL we supply synthetic zeolites under the name of Zeolon® specially used as detergent builder, water-softener or adsorbent. Important characteristics are; environment-friendly, high purity, special crystal structure, high ion exchange capacity and good adsorbtivity.
From Seppic we can offer a wide range of products - biodegradable surfactants, polymers; bactericides and anti-corrosion agents - to meet the requirements of industrial and institutional users as well as the household detergent market.
